This is a woman who is confident, athletic, smart, beaufitul and ready to welcome her first child!

Serena Williams is on the cover of the August issue of Vanity Fair - and the internet + me, is loving it! In the pages of this issue she talks about her smashing career and relationship with finance Alexis Ohanian who is an American Internet entrepreneur and investor, known for co-founding the social news website Reddit.

Also noted in this article is that your girl Serena is: "the best tennis player in history, with an aggregate winning percentage of 85.76 percent and 72 tournaments won on the Women’s Tennis Association tour (including the 23 grand-slam victories in 29 singles finals, not to mention 14 doubles finals with sister Venus). She has earned $84,463,131 in career prize money and nearly twice that in endorsements and appearance fees."

She speaks candidly about finding out she was pregnant in the feature, saying, “I did a double take and my heart dropped. Like literally it dropped."

Oh my God, this can’t be—I’ve got to play a tournament,” she continued to Vanity Fair. “How am I going to play the Australian Open? I had planned on winning Wimbledon this year."

And she did (triumphing without skipping a beat!)
